Crane Creek Stormwater Plan.
Ron Jones from the Brevard County SWIM program gave a presentation on the County’s efforts to control the Stormwater flowing into Crane Creek. He stated because of the rapid growth in Brevard County over the last 5 years the systems that are currently in place are not adequate. Historically, the Crane Creek drainage area was enlarged by a series of canals to make the land suitable for development. The current project would redivert the water and send it through a treatment system. This will help to improve water quality and flood control.
