September 11 May Affect Right Whales.

   Due to the terrorist attack on the United States, state and federal agencies protecting the most endangered of the great whales may not receive as much funding as they were expecting. Congress is appropriating money for programs to protect U.S. citizens and conduct the war against Afghanistan. Unfortunately for the whales, this means that aerial survey teams that relay information to ships and conduct photo identification work may not be flying as much as usual.
