Lagoon Salinity Drops Rapidly with End of Drought

Why Does Salinity Matter?

The Big Question

What Can You do to Help?

Lagoon Day - Saturday, November 16

Time again for our semi-annual Lagoon Day! Sat. Nov. 16th all our monitors will test the lagoon simultaneously at 8 a.m. With over 95 sites from Mosquito Lagoon down to the St. Lucie River, we will collect a "snapshot in time" of water quality along the full length of our precious lagoon. This fall we are tying this special event in with another unique happening, Indialantic’s 50th birthday party. After the water testing, come along to our booth in Indialantic’s Riverside Park (next to Melbourne Causeway). Food and festivities will stretch along 4th Avenue from the Indian River Lagoon to the Atlantic Ocean .
